CCT is bringing Split 2nd Improv to the Snoqualmie Valley, once a month throughout the summer by special arrangement with
 Never the same show twice … because you, the audience, decide what we do onstage. Your suggestions craft our show! Bring the whole family along.  All of the action is rated PG.
June 21st & 22nd, July 12th & 13th, August 23 & 24th
Friday night shows will be at Miller’s Community and Arts Center 9pm
Saturday night shows will be at the Duvall Visitor and Centennial Center 7pm and 9pm
Tickets: $15 at the door – General Admission, $12 – Seniors, $8 Students (18 and under)
 

CCT Youth Theater One Acts

CCT Youth Theater brings to the stage two one acts in June.
Witch Hunt by Stuart Ardern
Witch Hunt tells the story of a village’s fears and suspicions of an old woman who appears to be practicing witchcraft. This is a more serious drama rather than a comedy, but it’s suitable for the whole family.
All the Bases by Alan Haehnel.
In an effort to create the perfect production, the cast begins by reading the “survey results” they got from the audience in response to the question, “What do you want from a play?” Based on these responses, the cast creates a checklist and presents a play meeting all 15 audience requirements. The hilarious result is its “short-cheap-educational-safe, non-schedule-interfering, colorfully-costumed-interestingly-set, photogenic, Shakespearean, self-esteem-building, combative-musical-repartee-filled, stars-your-precious-child, contains-no-scratching-or-picking-of-the-embarrassing-variety…show!”
This is a great opportunity to see the valley’s next generation of talent and it’s fun for the whole family.

Cascade Community Theatre (CCT) will be performing an adaption of the Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night”, a comedy of gender confusion, in which a girl disguises herself as a man to be near the Duke she adores, only to be pursued by the Countess he loves. This adaption is entertaining for both Shakespeare aficionados and for someone who’s never seen a Shakespeare play. It is 100% family friendly.

This free, hour-long adaptation is written in a fast-paced, witty style that is suited to contemporary tastes. All performances are held outdoors.

]]> The curtain is going up on a summer filled with the excitement and the magic of theatre! Cascade Community Theatre Arts Camp; ENCORE! offers total theatre immersion plus all of the fun of a great summer camp. It’s the only theatre arts summer camp program in the SnoqualmieValley! We have an array of classes including Acting 101, Shakespeare, Pantomime, Improvisation, Stage Combat, Technical Theatre, Movement, Characterization, and Performance Art.
