Wizard of Oz Auditions Coming Soon!

Cascade Community Theatre is excited to announce that auditions for the musical The Wizard of OZ* will be held on:

Thursday, August 22nd @ 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Saturday, August 24th @ 9:00am – 11:00am
Thursday, August 29th @ 7:00pm – 9:00pm

We need a large cast with roles for all ages. If you like singing, dancing, acting, or any combination of these, we’d love to have you audition! Tell your friends!

We plan on rehearsals being on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in Duvall beginning in September.
Performances are targeted for the end of January 2025.

Singing
Prepare to sing a short 1 minute section of a song of your choice to demonstrate your vocal ability. You must have musical accompaniment (you can play it on your phone or forward a music file or web link to auditions@cctplays.org). No acapella please.

Acting
Be ready to present a 1 to 2 minute monologue of your choosing that demonstrates your acting ability. Some ideas for monologues can be found at the link below:

Dancing
Come prepared to go through a few short, easy dance steps that will be shown to you upon arrival. Comfortable clothing is encouraged.
