Angry Housewives, October 1-18, 2026

Angry Housewives ran October 1-18 at the Wagner Performing Arts Center in Monroe.

Four frustrated women form a punk band to win a local talent contest, and in the process find their way out of monotonous lives and the men holding them there. This 1980s satirical punk-rock comedy was created by Seattleites A.M. Collins and Chad Henry, a rock musical born in our own backyard, and it hit our stage with all the volume and swagger the material deserves.

Martha Schuler directed, with Barbara Hochteil producing. The cast brought serious talent and even more serious comedic timing, and audiences were laughing from the first number through the raucous finale.

Thank you to the cast, the crew, and the volunteers who built this one. And thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and filled those seats. You’re why we do this.
