About the Show
Angry Housewives is a popular, satirical 1980s punk-rock musical comedy about four frustrated women who form a punk band to win a local talent contest for cash and to escape their monotonous lives and oppressive men. Created by Seattleites A.M. Collins and Chad Henry, the show focuses on empowerment, suburban ennui, and 1980s feminism, featuring high-energy numbers and a “raucous” finale.
